Gerard Johnstone is a New Zealand film director and screenwriter best known for his distinctive blend of dark humour, inventive storytelling, and genre-savvy filmmaking.
He made his feature debut with the highly acclaimed horror-comedy HOUSEBOUND, which premiered at South by Southwest in 2014 and was praised for its sharp wit, clever twists, and fresh take on the haunted house genre.
Carly is an Emmy Award-winning producer and Head of Scripted at Fremantle Australia. Her slate spans global hits and acclaimed dramas, including Heartbreak High (Netflix), Significant Others (ABC), Secret City (Foxtel/Netflix), Fighting Season (Foxtel), UPRIGHT (Sky UK/Foxtel), The End (Sky UK/Foxtel), and A Place to Call Home (Seven/Acorn).
